My best friend and I decided to take a historical tour when we were in Savannah shortly after my mother passed. During that tour, I captured this image of Savannah's City Hall. It is an amazingly beautiful building. The dome was originally copper but was gilded in 1987. That is 23-karat gold on the dome, cupola, and clock!  The gold leaf gave the image its name — golden Savannah.
