Every summer, until I was in third or fourth grade, my family stayed for a week in one of the rustic cabins in Hanging Rock State Park. We set marshmallows next to the porch and watched from inside as the raccoon families crept up to take the treats. I greatly miss the beauty and simplicity of that cabin life.
