Thanks for stopping by! I'm Lydia Smith, a photographer specializing in landscapes and unique gifts. I live with my husband, son, and three cats in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. My husband and I were born and raised in North Carolina but we've lived in Lake Wylie since 2003 and consider it our home.
In addition to hanging out with my family, I love to read and write. I'll read almost anything but I favor mysteries and thrillers. And writing is how I've expressed myself since I was very young -- I write everything from poetry to personal testimonies to short stories. In the spring of 2018, I also became the Children's Minister at my church!
I officially started my photography business in September 2017. But I didn't choose this path -- this path chose me instead.

Dedication
Around every corner, I see Mama showing me the beauty still left in the world. I feel her presence very deeply when I have my camera in hand and I know she led me to this path for a reason. This path is teaching me, giving me back my faith, comforting me. This path is helping me heal.
My work is wholeheartedly dedicated to my parents, Jerry and Judy Brownlee. Rest in peace, my amazing mother. As I told you before -- if you were not my mother, I'd still choose you for my friend.
